The bobbin winder shaft stays in the winder position so I cannot use the embroidery function. It feels as though the shaft is jammed to the side and it appears as if it is jammed forward as it is touching the plastic machine cover. When the bobbin is winding the bobbin itself appears to be tilted forward like a planet tilted on its axis.

Also, the presser foot lever moves up and down but the foot does not move, unless the lever is pushed all the way up, then the foot will move up only slightly. Is the foot supposed to move down, closer to the needle plate when the lever is down?

The best thing you can do with that machine is to get it into a dealers for repair.
