How can I fix the horn on my Renault Megane Convertable?

I have just bought a Renault Megane Convertable 54 plate only to find out the horn does not work. Have pushed it hard and got someone else to try and the handbook is no help.

Don't want to pay a fortune if it is something simple. Please help.....
