leaking roof?

i have a 20 year old van royce van, apart from a bit of damp is ok , have discovered the source of the problem, small pin holes on the roof close to the wall of the van. what method of repair is recomended, apart from putting a complete sheet of aluminium over the old one as a repair shop would do, the cost of that would not be worth it, i am considering a repair with epoxy resin?

You could do but remember it flexes so may eventually break away. So get piece of ally sheet from B&Q and tube of external sealant and application gun long self-tap screws but not too long the come through the ceiling apply mastic around the edges 1/8" in and press it down to cover the holes and the drill pilot holes for the screws just through the plate then screw it down. that's how I would do it. Run a bead of mastic around the edges after to esnure a good seal. The mastic is flexible and won't be affected by flexing.
