Simpson Maxidry 1200 P?

My Simson Maxidry 1200 P works fine but the air it produces is cool even on the hottest setting. What is the likely cause and is it repairable. I've pulled the back off and had a look but I can't see what produces the heat.

The ELEMENT is between the front casing and the front of the barrel. Should have about 32 Ohms of resistance on it. There are 2 HEAT sensors on the back panel that should have No resistance at room temp.
