Miele W723 front loader How do you change the carbon brushes?

How do you change the carbon brushes in a Miele W723 front loader washing machine. Please help?

Turn off, unplug & remove electrical lead from wall socket. Place W723 on side. Please note: The motor does not have to be removed from machine. Locate motor. Look for two screws holding on plastic motor cover. Undo the two screws with philips head scewdriver. Pullout the electricals. Remove cover and padding from motor. Locate carbon brushes and remove one first then replace with new one, then remove second one and replace with new one. Replace padding and motor cover. Push back in electricals. Screw back in the two screws. Stand machine up and should be ready to go.

Not a Miele - but they're all very similar...at least you get an idea. Access to the motor is usually (always) from the rear

Good luck...
