How can I fix my Renault Megane 1.6VVT 16 Valve 53 plate?

I have a 1.6VVT 53 plate Megane. When I start the car (doesn't matter what time of day or temp either) it cut's out after about 5 seconds if I don't keep it reved or when I come to a junction or slow right down it also cuts out and I have to restart it. This happens until the engine is warmed up. I am thinking its the cam shaft sensor. Does anyone agree or have an opinion? Would appreciate the help!

similar problems with mine... trying to sell it to get rid of it as it's one thing after another AND only an 06 plate.

th garage have changed the de-phaser and cam belt, new ignition block / coil and the problems you are reporting sound like a dirty throttle body OR failed air math sensor... as they have told me when I reported very similar symptons, although they are reluntnent to change these as these don't show up when the plug in the fault diagnostic equipment, when i asked would they if these parts were broken, there reply was no!
