Zanussi Aquacycle 1100 not starting, just clicking !?

I have the Aquacycle 1100 but instead of starting up, it just keeps beeping. Also, the door catch keeps clicking from inside the machine. Houston, I think we have a problem!! Does anyone know what the problem could be? I would appreciate some help with this.

sounds like the door lock (bit clicking) is faulty and will need replacing
