206 heater fan noise?

My 2000 V reg 206 1.4 has suddenly developed a clicking noise from the heater fan. It's a bit like the noise from putting a lollipop stick in your bike spokes. I'm assuming its a twig or something lodged in the fan but how do I get access to it?

Many thanks for the fast reply. Job done - it was a leaf - must have got in there when the filter was changed.

remove glovebox by taking out all screws. (including sneaky ones underneath) and you will see motor on side of heater box. unplug wire and twist motor anti-clockwise and pull out. any damage should be obvious looking at end of fan assembly. if twig is there have you checked pollen filter is ok? or has someone put something in heater vents?
