how to add an air filter to gilera DNA 125 (K&N)?

basically i have a gilera DNA 125 which is starting to look unique just want to be able to remove the air box off this thing! has any body done this and put an air filter instead of air box? if so what jet size do i need and filter? i cant find any info on the web atm. also will this give some better top end to the bike or should i get better rollers? i have bought the bike as a project and dont have a clue what rollers are in it but it is quite quick off the line so im thinking there lighter?

cheers!!

Hi Jamie a race air filter is not going to give you much more top end speed, maybe 2 or 3 mph extra & bit more acceleration. As for the rollers, the lighter you go the quicker off the mark you'll be but will probably sacrifice top end speed. you can dick around with the roller weights forever till you're happy with the performance.

You can download the manual for the DNA free from www.carlsalter.com & follow the links. Here's another interesting website www.tunemyscooter.com or if you just Google Gilera DNA 125, there's lots of pages on tuning, parts, discussions etc......
