I have a Honda CRV 2002 model and my friend has the 2005 model. I used my friends sat nav DVD in my car(2002). When I put his DVD into my car it installed some software and worked fine. But after I tried to use my original 2002 DVD. But now it says "later version of the software is installed please check the version of the disc" Can any one help to sort this out. I need to be able to use my original DVD in my car again. Thanks.

Press the menu and the down zoom together when the ok when the ok icon is visable on the left hand lower courner is shown, this will then dis play the service menu u will hear a tone after 2 or 3 seconds.

press the joy stick twice. you will then be taken to a list of options. Select 'UNIT CHECK'.
Select 'FORCE DOWN LOAD'.
System will now start to download the old operating system firmware from the old disc, showing progress on a green bar gauge.
When finished the unit should be able to be started normally.
