my royal 582cx cash register will not stop feeding paper. i have done a half clear and a full clear, cleaned the button, and nothing stops it from feeding.

have you tried taking the batteries out and leaving the machine off over night to re-set it to factory settings. Please remember this deletes all programmed information in the cash register. if that does not work then it sound like the chip that drivers the printer could be blown.
