Hi. I had to replace the thermostat on my White Knight tumble dryer because the old one burnt out. Now the whole machine heats up to a very hot temperature as soon as the power is turned on until the overload trips out without it even running. I thought it may have been the timer so have replaced that but still have the problem. I've checked the wiring as per previous posts on this forum and it all matches. Anyone got ant ideas?

Is the heat on when the drum isn't rotating?.If so you have put wiring on wrong some how
