Power slide on Winnebago Chieftain will not retrack?

we just bought a 1998 Winnebago Chieftain it has 2 slides. All the books for 98's only show one slide. The bedroom slide will not retrack. Is there a way to crank it in and will it stay in if it is push in buy hand?
