jacuzzi wiring?

hi,a all
i have a jacuzzi bath and wanted to know how to wire it up to power. was told by plumber in b and q that if it has an on/off button on side of bath then its ok to wire it straight into the power but i,ve lokked on internet and it says different. do i need a fused socket,rcd,mcb if so could ani 1 tell me what i need as i intend to buy all things needed b4 i have qualified plumber/electrition then they,ll just charge me for connecting it up . thank you very much.

The trouble with death from electrocution is that it can be so permanent.

Regulations differ from county to country. Issues may arise perhaps if you come to sell the property.

You will need the supply, fusing and cables, properly selected and configured for the power of the pump - you will need some kind of protection device and probably a pulll cord isolator on/off switch.

All this is guesswork - a professional installer will be able to advise you professionally - you should not worry about any extra cost of this - because you're worth it.
