The orange lever handle on my B&D electric mower, mm525, seems to have lost the correct contact connection to start the mower. I have to pull hard and hold in a certain direction for the mower engine to stay on. This seems like an easy fix but anyone know how I can repair and what part I might need?

The on/off switch is part number 681064-01

Google only shows this part priced in US$ at varying costs around the $12 - $17 mark.
