how to open the bonnet on a rover MG ZT without the bonnet release working ( i closed the bonnet and now it wont open and the release pull inside the car as no tension on it) please help !

I have the same problem and would be grateful for the answer, have tried pressing the bonnet down while pulling the cable. Have also removed the small panel in os wheel arch but can't find the two cables going to the bonnet release catches. My fan belt has snapped so need urgently to solve problem.

If its the pull handle inside thats broken, try pulling the end of the cable with some pliers...its also a good idea to have someone lightly pressing down on the bonnet at the same time, to release some pressure from the latch.
