It is an Oxygen sensor fault, but they have to replace that sensor, plus an electronic part plus maybe another electronic part. It is a well known fault , so despite being out of warranty miele usually comes to the party with free replacement parts (quite expensive) if you pay for the labour. The user programs and sensor display will also be replaced to repair this so copy down your precious settings in the user programs. Hope this helps. The loacal experts are very helpful, but Miele prefers to deal with repair firms rather than customers, which i found a little off-putting i must admit.
