veritas alarm... i can't leave my home?

total novice here....

after attempting to discover which fuse in a fuse box worked what in a newly rented flat, the veritas alarm went off. this stopped when all mains was turned back on.

however.. after turning the mains back on all the lights on the alarm panel show red (unset light is green) after a few seconds lights 2,3,4,5 flash red and the panel beeps. after a minute or so this stops and all the lights go out (including the unset light). to make matters worse anytime we try to leave the house, it triggers something and the unset light flashes green (had no light previously)

so, basically, we can't leave the house without setting of the alarm or reseting it a the main fuse box.

we are renting the flat so have no manual (not that we would understand it!) and no codes.

any help?

thanks

will give you a phone, currently in the flat.
key pad has no lights on (except the illuminated buttons obv.)
control panel (box?) has a green light showing

however i know that when i open the front door it will go off again. :/

none of the other sensors seem to be trigged or working though.
