I inherited an ADE Optima Compact which worked fine until I manged to cut through cables. I turned off mains, disconnected battery and repaired cables using connection blocks and some replacement cable. Now the unit will not set (has a glowing light for each area when I try to set it). Any ideas?

Replace the fuses that you blew when you cut the cables, also, a new battery would not go amiss.
