The mouse on my laptop freezes sometimes. sometimes it will just fall to the bottom of the page and you can't do anything else. It is the mouse pad not a stick. I have tried shutting it down and putting a external mouse but it won't even ackowledge it. How can I fix it?

My Laptop which i brought 3 monts ago with Windows Vista has had the same problem ,
If you have Norton Internet Security you may need to change because many of the websites i have visited have said that.

its either spyware or malware & if it happens whilst youre on net maybe someone hacking/hijacking your mouse, its reaally sad why certain people do such things:( anyway heres further reading http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

i have the same problum on my compaq presario laptop, everything pauses for a moment, and the curser will shoot of to the corner of the screen, this happens with my external mouse aswell (which works ok other than that)
