You most likely need part UL4267 and I haven't been able to find it available anywhere online. It sounds like it could cost much more than I would be willing to pay anyway - enough to buy a new iron. Mine just quit working the other day when I was using it. My husband got into it and came to the conclusion that it needed the new P.C. board with cord (part UL4267). Guess I'll be looking for a new iron - and not a Rowenta!
Mine looks new and was lightly used. Bummer. Sorry about yours too.
