renault megane braking problem?

i have a 1996 rxe 1.6 8 valve megane and have recently noticed when I'm driving it, and i need to brake there is a thumping feeling on the brake peddle. please help.

Probably a warped brake disc.
Possibly a loose wheel, faulty bearing or malfunctioning ABS system.
