Help! Battery! Peugeot Vivacity 50cc?

I just bought a new battery for my Peugeot viva city X-Race 50cc and do not have a charger is there any other way to charge this without having to go and buy a new charger for it?

Help Please!

Hello,

I got the acid with it and the headlights and stuff are on auto on this type of bike but they generally run off something else as far as i am hoping the speedo and the petrol gauge will start to work when its charging :)

Hiya Danielle, do you know if the battery is a sealed unit or were you given a cartridge of a liquid which looks like water called electrolyte (battery acid) to put into it? The reason i ask is, if you charge the battery with no electrolyte then you will fry it. If the top of the battery doesn't look as if there's anywhere to put water into then it's probably maintenance free.
If you've no charger then install the battery into the bike, only use the kickstart to start the ped as you don't want anything drawing power away from the uncharged battery.
Bring the ped for a good spin ideally avoiding using your headlights, going in & out of work for a couple of days should do it. the battery will be charged & you can then begin using the starter button as normal.
