location of lambda sensor?

please can you help i am desperatly trying to find the lambda sensor on a vauxhall frontera b dti 98 been told its on the manifold but cant find anywhere on car or internet please help

According to the wiring diagram it does'nt have a lambda sensor!! might be why you can't find it?

thanks for your reply john however i,ve had another look and followed from top of manifold down to the snakeskin type of affair then under to the mid box then onto the rear box and have found nothing no wires ,no bolts into the pipe please help again anybody

Follow the route of the exhaust system as it leaves the engine.....the first item the pipes enter is the catalytic converter, and you'll find one lambda sensor at the front of the cat......look for wires going into it. There will also probably be another sensor just after the cat, which checks that the first one is doing its job.
