baxi combi 80HE wont fire up?

i have a baxi combi 80 he. a few weeks ago, it said there was a fault on the fan or flue, but this seemed to "sort itself out" when i turned the preheat off. now the boiler wont fire at all. the light comes on to indicate whether its on heating or hot water, but the flame wont light. it just sits dormant, although the fan runs

jumping in straight away with a diagnosis of a pcb is just f*$kin stupid. Rule everything out before buying a pcb, part of your training??? prove whats broke?

pcb

The fan operates a pressure switch and the switch is the signal to begin lighting up. The PCB controls it all.
Maybe the fan is not running as it should
Maybe the pressure switch is faulty
Maybe the Flue or the case seal is faulty
Maybe the PCB is not working properly
Maybe the Gas Valve is defective

A heating engineer can make an accurate diagnosis - eventually...

Good luck...
