spear & jackson grass trimmer model SPJGT30 how do i remove the head to replace the line??????????

you unscrew the large black ribbed nut in the centre underneath and this allows the spool to drop down. Unwind some more thread and pull it through the feed holes. Although the strimmer is meant to feed line automatically if you bump the ribbed nut on the ground but this doesn't seem to work on most units from other postings I have seen. Hope this helps
