Miele W723 powder dispenser leaks water when filling the drum. The water leaks out the front of the dispenser when machine is filling with water and runs down the front of the machine. I have to hold a towel underneath the drawer to catch and stop the water going everywhere. Is the drawer missing something or a seal or is it something else. Please help....

This happened when test running the machine without powder after all inlets/outlets/pipes/drains were cleaned so it can't be blocked.
As we are on tank water with a pump and the water pressure isn't all that great I don't think it would be a water pressure issue. Thankyou for your help, kindly appreciated, any other suggestions.
Just a thought...Do you think the water hoses may be connected the wrong way on the water inlet holes at the back of the tray? I noticed all the 3 hoses are connected to the "K" inlet holes. The other 3 holes have "W" stamped on them and have nothing connected to them. Also there is another hose connected to another inlet under/near the first hose looking from the left. Does this sound right. Please help.

check the water inlet holes above the powder tray for partly blocked holes this gunge can misdirect the water flow.try also reducing the water pressure to the machine as you may have water pipe repairs nearby when repaired there's more pressure in the water supply line, this would be more evident/noticable on the rest of the cold taps in the house
