mazda mx5 headlights?

how do i stop headlights popping up in hot weather & draining the battery
David, July 2009
I use three ratchet straps joined together to wrap round the headlights and the front of the car. These can be for sale at £3.99 each if required.

A more permanent repair would be to weld the headlamps to the car and then lead in the joints so that no one can notice.
Most reputable garages should be happy to do the job for you, but ensure they use a surge protector when they start welding.

You can then get it MOT'd for daylight use only, with the added benefits of having a custom car that would be worth a lot of money and get you lots of female admirers.

Hope this helps.
