how can i fx this ?

i hav a passat y reg and my fob wont work i can open with the key but my indicator lights flash off and on then settle does this mean i need to hav it reset or is it a alarm problem do u know

Does the spare key work?
Put new a battery in the key then try the instructions on this site -
