my freezer evaporator ices up over a period of 3 weeks which stops the air flow into the fridge section and alarms out, i have checked the seals on the door and when fully defrosted the case works well, the compressor and the evaporator fan cycles at temperature and there seems to be no apparant reason why it ices up

theres 2 sensors built into the evapourator if they are faulty they will cause excessive ice build up.also the defrost heater might of blown.again this is in the evapourator and you have to remove it to gain access.big diy job to be honest but takes 40mins when you know how.costs about £90 to get someone in to do it but not many people will do it and will tell you its a faulty system/compressor.be warned!
