steering light on dashboard has come on, and the steering itself is very difficult to turn. I have checked the fuses and the hydrilic fluid and both are ok. Steering feels like no power assistance only worse.

it sounds as if the electric unit attatched to the steering colum has brocken down it also comes into play when you press the city button to make the steering lighter it may be you need to fit a new or second hand one my mate changed one and the unit cost a lot of money
