MY FORD STALL'S SOMETIME WHEN FIRST STARTED?

WHEN I START MY CAR IT STALL'S UNLES YOU KEEP RPMS UP WHEN PUTTING IN GEAR OK LATER ON (AUTOMATIC)

Hello very very common problem,i,m guessing it,s an escort or fiesta with the zetec engine?
The gearbox is a CTX,they have several differant problems that make them stall.
They crack the secondry drum which can apply upto 600psi of oil pressure with the drum cracked this makes them stall cold and better when hot.
Second most common fault is the aluminium valve body wears out allowing oil pressure to cross leak into the clutch apply valve making it stall. It gets better when hot because the aluminium warms up quick sealing off most of the cross leak stopping it stalling.
The only problem with both of these faults is that they can cause damage to the primary and secondry drum which are smooth v pulleys, also damage the chain that runs between them.
If i can be any more help feel free to contact me.
