I have tmobile and have a samsung but its a pos and they wont upgrade me so i found my little brothers tmobile phone and bought a new battery and charger for it plugged it in and it wont turn on if my sim card is in it if i take it out it will but only for a few minutes no water damage and the actual phone is out of warrenty any helpful ideas?????? Help

The handset must be unlocked, or locked to the same network as the SIM you're trying to use with it.

Try wiping the gold contacts on the battery, make sure the SIM is in securely then hold down the power button for about 10 seconds. If that doesn't work try it with the charger plugged in.
