I have a vauxhall vectra witha defective boot lid lock. ?

Can this problem be fixed without replacing the boot lock. I have been quoted 100 pounds+ for a replacement part.

it could be one of the bars in the lock come loose is the key just keep turning in the lock if so new lock required phone around breakers i got lock with key for a tenner job done
