How can I fix my Maytag MBD7100? (Won't drain)?

Washer works good. Won't drain. Motor appears to be stalled on drain cycle. Please help.

Hello,

If you hear the dishwasher motor trying to go during drain but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like you may have something stuck in the impeller preventing the motor from going. If you kept the motor on while its humming, it will heat up and then shut off on its overload switch. Do or did you hear any grinding noise prior to it not draining? A piece of glass or anything could get in there and cause this. Hope this helps.

Your right it is MDB7100. Motor does not run during drain cycle.
It tries, but tripps off. Drain is not clogged - checked.
Motor windings appear OK.
Do we need to replace the circuit board?
Thanks

Hello,

I think it is model MDB7100. Does the pump/motor assembly run during the drain part of the cycle or is it dead? You probably have a clogged drain line if the dishwasher will wash ok but will not drain.
