hotpoint wf620g?

i have just fitted a new module in my wf620 i have been told by the supplyer that it needs to be programed as all its doing is lighting the whole front panal up and doing nothin at all, can you help?

The module is a generic board and can be use on hundereds of differrent models of machines. Therefore the module needs an eeprom to be programmed for that specific model. Phone up the Hotpoint parts dept and see if they sell the specific pre-programmed for your model. If you open up the top of the module you'll find an empty socket for an 8 pin eeprom (an eeprom is a chip that can be programmed).
