Renault scenic rear hub nut?

Is the Hub nut on the rear wheel just tight or is there a seperate bolt holding the nut in place. I am trying to remove the rear bearing/disc assembly for replacement on a 2000 renault megan scenic. Thank you.

Yes it is tight - to slacken you will need a strong socket bar ( mines a teng) and a length of pipe that will go over the bar - about 4 foot long. Then steady pressure. stand on it if you can.
