Fridge doesn't get cold on gas or 12 volt?

fridge works really well on hook up but won't get cold on gas. The gas appears to stay alight, it doesn't stay cold when on 12volt either, Has it had it's time? Have I got to start saving for a new one?

I have a similar problem whether its on gas, 12 volt or mains voltage when my van is parked on a slight slope, when the van is parked flat the problem disappears.
