check air filter replace if neccessary. check turbo pipes for engine oil and other debris. and clean with brake cleaner. check turbo intercooler if you have one, clean out oil with brake cleaner and blow out using compressed air. check turbo oil pipes are clear by removing them and checking, sometimes pick up pipe has gauze filter inside pipe. check this is clean. brake cleaner again. replace seals and washers on turbo and pipes to save undoing it all and replacing it again. dont forget to remove plastic blanks in recon turbo in oilways or else it will wreck new turbo! replace engine oil and filter. find out why turbo failed and look in to anything else that should be checked/changed. when turbo replaced and engine started dont rev engine for 10 minutes at least to allow oil to warm up and circulate.
