oil warning display on '09' citreon relay?

when turning on ignition, the word 'OIL' is displayed briefly with 5 circles above it,before changing to 'mileage travelled'.
now on start up,an audible 'beep' is heard when the word 'OIL' is displayed and there are 5 lines showing instead of the circles.
the van has only done 6500 mile and the oil level/viscosity are fine.
No other warning indicators appear and van runs fine.
Any ideas??

More than likely an electric dipstick fault...however, do check the oil level with the van on the flat before referring it back to Citroen.
