Where is an immobiliser on Peugeot Speedfighter?

lost my key for my speedfighter. i changed the barrel but forgot about the immobiliser. where is it located and is it possible to disable it or remove it

adam ill give you a sensible answer unlike all the half wits on here, the immobiliser/cdi unit is behind the inner legshield, whcih is the panel that surrounds the ignition switch ,the cdi/immobilser is bolted to the frame thereits an oval shaped black plastic box with two multi plugs in it one from the loom and the other from the aerial wire from the ignition switch that picks up the signal from the chip in the key.good luck adam from adam :)

Hey , i had trouble finding it too. I looked all over , until i found it hidden in the back of my sofa!
Good luck , however if you do not find it down the sofa , check up your arse.
