Aqualisa Quartz Digital Shower Dripping?

Aqualisa Quartz Digital Concealed Thermostatic Shower (single button, red LED) dripping. 7 years old. Megaflow water system. Have been told that I need a new processor unit - £230!! What happened to changing a washer? Any suggestions appreciated - Thanks..
