Vauxhall Zafira - EGR valve?

I have a 2003 1.8 zafira, with an ecotec engine in it,

1st - do modern day petrol engines have egr valves on them?

2nd - does the zafira have an egr valve?

On a vauxhul zafira 2002 model on the EGR Valve, If its leaking oil and it taking longer to start in the morning is it broken.
