Thank you Matt McKean. Also there is Velcro attaching dishwasher and kitchen door. After removing the screws as mention by Matt, i had to pull the door outwards, so that Velcro is detached and then slide it down.

Thanx from Holland, Matt. I have the original instructions here, but those drawings didn't make me any wiser. Fixed it now. Many Thanx.

Thanks to Matt

I have also just removed my wooden door after about 30 minutes trying various things. Who would know that it was the first and third screws out of all of them present.

I should have looked on internet earlier,

Cheers, John

Thanks Matt M - spot on answer. Even knowing about the catches at the top I had a serious job getting the front to move. I worked out the screws but if you hadn't explained about the Velcro & catches I'd have been resorting to a crowbar and needing a new door!

Excellent description. Exactly the same for my DIR04. Thanks

A spot on description of how to remove a DI620 door.

Thankyou

When you remove the screws it is held on with velchro. You have to rip the door away..that is maybe why you think it is still attached after you remove screws.

Hi.. Ive just done this on my Indesit DI620 and after trawlling the internet and not finding how to do it, i thought i best add it so others dont struggle.

OK.. if you stand in front of your dishwasher and open the door you will see 4 small Cross Head screws down each side of the metal frame on the inside of the door.

From the bottom of your door (closest to the hinges) unscrew the 1st and 3rd screws. These Should be Wood Screws of about 1 1/2 inches long. Do this on both sides.

Then slide the Wooden door front downwards (towards the floor) The Wooden door has two pegs that locate to the Washer door, that when slide downwards allows the door to be removed.

Hope this is helpful.

Hi John, Did you ever figure this out ? I have the same problem, I can't remove the door. Thanks
