Washing Machine Servis M6601S Leaking from underneath?

Hi my servis waching machine has just started leaking on a bog standard 30 degree wash from underneath.

I have pulled it out cleared up the water checked the u bend and the pipes are connected fine and tightly and it fills up and drains, spins fine when its empty.

It seems to be just when its loaded up a bit and its got a massive 6kg drum but its never overloaded usually 2 thirds full if that. So I'm a bit baffled. Only just come out of its warranty aswell...

Any help would be appreciated as I can afford to get a engineer out at minute got a baby due in a few weeks time and still got loads to get :(

Hi thanks Alan

Had a look at the seal and it looks absolutely knackered... it seems to be a double lip kinda thing and the bit that tucks in under outside of the drum seems to have worn quite badly. I ran it on an other couple today and it still leaking after i double checked the pipes. Cant take it out and run it as my kitchen hasnt got the room to do it. How much would it cost for the door seal? also is there anything on the inside that could be making it leak or would it just be the door seal?

hi magical, all i can suggest is check the door seal for tiny splits, will usually be at bottom of seal in a crease and normally hidden, try running machine with rear panel removed and looking to see where the water is leaking from.if i is the door seal you will have to fit a new one,its a fiddly job but not too difficult.good luck mate hope this has been a help.
