How to fit front indicator bulb in a Ford Streetka?

There isn't much on here to tell you how to replace the front indicator light on a Ford Streetka, and Halfords reckon it's too difficult for them to do.

So for the sake of knowledge sharing I have managed to do it and here are the instructions.

There are 3 screws right at the front that hold the radiator grille in place. Unscrew these and then pull the grille forward slightly (do this carefully!!). Look to the side behind the grille by the light and you will see the bulb holder with 2 black plastic bits on either side.

Squeeze the plastic bits together gently and turn the bulb holder anti-clockwise and pull. It should come out. Then unscrew the broken bulb anti-clockwise and the bulb will pop out. Screw your new bulb into the holder (clockwise) and then screw it back into the holder.

Now would be a good time to test whether the indicator light is flashing...

Once you're satisfied that it's working correctly, push the radiator grille back and screw it back in. Then you're finished.

Hope this helps!!
