my drum on the dryer wont turn just making a noise ?

my drum on the dryer wont turn just making a noise i have replaced the capacitor so it's not that if i spin the drum round and shut the door quickly it spins until it's time to reverse can anyone help???

load of rubbish, the condensor has failed. the condensor stores an extra power boost to turn the drum from standstill. easy to do and very cheap fix.

The start windings have failed on the motor, I'm afraid...time for a new one.
