My dads W reg Vauxhall Vectra 2L Di won't start, it turns over hard enough but will not fire up. Also while turning the ignition the engine manegment light comes on. There was no warning of any problem, in fact the car was running fine, this problem only accured after he had parked it up for the night, next morning car would'nt start. Help!!!

Is the EML flashing? If so it's an immobiliser problem.
Make sure the immo chip in the key is in place.
Try starting it with the spare key.
