i took mine apart found out the 8 cavite canister was caked on dirt i washed that all out and the water was black ( eewwwww ) took a bit of time but i got it all cleaned out that i could, i didnt get 100% since i didnt want to break anything, if it didnt move after the scews and a bit of force then i left it and used a presure nosil on my water hose, after it was clean it ran aloot better then it was, we had the machine in for repairs so they can fix it but it never lasted but a few months and back to repair shop, after all my washing the casinster parts and put it back together. next time we take it back will be for a boken part.

how do you get motor out to change brushes

* Usually - filter maintenance is the best guess.
* Another problem may be the way the parts fit when you put it together. if for example the filter on the base is not placed correctly - it'll reduce the suck action.
* if all fails - try to see if you still loose force at any of the connections and see if you can replace the rubber seals on the pipe connection interfaces (there are 3 or 4 places where this may happen on the cyclon 8)

I'm having the same problem. I have completly stripped all my filters and cleaned them. It seems to work better by using the hose and not the bottom part.
