Passat Central Locking?

I have a VW Passat, 2005, and experiencing problems with central locking. The car opens fine with key fob, however, will not lock with key fob. Dash shows Drivers door, nearside back door and boot all open even though the are all closed.

Driving me mad. Any suggestions??

The wires between the chassis and door may be cracked or broken. If you open the door and pull back the concertina rubber located about half way up the door inspect the wires here for damage.

vw's are common for this fault on passats and golfs it could be that the locks have become faulty but not usualy that many at the same time so it could be a fault with something else. a diognostic check should find the problem. check the passenger front foot well for water also a common fault for the pollen filter housing under bonnet to leak causing this problem.
